Advantages: Quick and Looks Smart with Good Quality Printing Disadvantages: Cartridge Are Expensive, and i feel there is better for the same price

Once ready to use it printed quickly and the quality of printing was sharp and had good colour with no lines or marks.
The only problem my dad has found with this is that the toner cartridges are very pricey compared to other brands of printer they can also be harder to get hold of than the ink cartridges for the printer i own.
It cost £420 when new which is expensive as this was in a sale and the original price was over £500.
It has a nice shape to it and sits at the back of a computer desk out of the way and has a good wipe down surface for any spill splashes or dust that does get on it.
I would not personally have one myself as i feel there are better brands out there with cheaper cartridges available

The HP Colour LaserJet 2605 is a good little printer; the colour printing is good quality and fast. It is the ideal home or small office printer, the paper tray on the LJ2605 is small so required topping up constantly with paper.
The LJ2605 is easy to use and the instructions on the led screen are simple and easy to follow, the screen is a little on the small side though.
You should be able to pick this printer up for less than £300. 00
Toner ... ...are retailing for around £50.00 each……. and this is the main drawback with this machine, the toner packs are quite small so you don't get much for your money and to replace all four colours is going to cost almost £200.00.
Being an Hewlett Packard makes it easy to maintain, parts for this printer are reasonable priced and readily available, having said that I have had no real problems with this printer although the little paper holder on the output ...

As Communications Manager for a large NGO my team and I are called upon to produce large amounts of leaflets and publications for conferences, seminars and internal meetings. A decision was taken by those over me to kit my department out with HPColorLaserJet2605dn printers, a decision I rue to this day and will continue to do so until I can either arrange for them to be stolen. That is of course a joke, but I really want them gone and more functional, better performing printers installed to make the life of me and my colleagues more bearable.
I will try to explain the problems we have experienced to date on top of the basic flaws with this equipment,
1. It is larger than the previous model - 40cm high, 40cm wide and 45cm deep. It takes up far too much space. We have four of these printers and to be honest it makes our office ...

The HPColourLaserJet2605dtn is a good little printer, the colour printing is good quality and fast. It is the ideal home or small office printer, the paper tray on the LJ2605 is small so required topping up constantly with paper, however the extra tray on this LJ2605dtn is a real bonus, and also allows the user to load two different paper types into the trays.
The LJ2605dtn is easy to use and the instructions on the led screen are simple and easy to follow, the screen is a little on the small side though.
Being an Hewlett Packard makes it easy to maintain, parts for this printer are reasonable priced and readily available, having said that I have had no real problems with this printer although the little paper holder on the output tray is a bit flimsy.

I needed a replacement for an old HP black laser when I saw this on offer with £100 cashback from HP.
Having had it running for about 3 weeks now I can report on what it's like to use.
Setup was quite straightforward, I opted for the network setup so it just plugged into router. Software installs quite quickly anf the HP Toolbox keeps an eye on ink levels via pc screen, although you do have to open it first.
It is slow, very slow when compared to other printers at just 10 pages a minute - I was used to 25 ppm from the machine it replaces.
However, first page comes out quickly and if you are patient ot's worth the wait.
Colour reproduction is pretty impressive, black is crisp and easy to read.
It is a b-i-g printer so make sure you measure your desk space before ordering. Supplies are not particularly cheap at around £40 ...
