Features of the HP Color LaserJet 3000n
The 3000n has the ability to produce 30 ppm (pages per minute - meaning that it has revolutionised printing as it can print a colour perfect quality page in 2 seconds!)
The 3000n can also print the best quality-wise pictures at a colour resolution of 600 dpi x 600 dpi (dots per inch).
Not only can the 3000n produce excellent colour pictures, but it can be connected (directly) to a network (Ethernet) and be used as an individual printer!
The 3000n also possesses a 533 MHz (mega-hertz) processor which enables the printer to convert a complicated document into its printed outline faster, therefore increasing the speed at which printers perform!
Advantages of the 3000n
As you can see from the (above or below) picture its cubical shape is somewhat attractive and it is even easy enough for one person to carry around. It also homes a reasonably user friendly LCD allowing the user to print to their preferences (although this can be done on Microsoft Word by pressing the commands Ctrl + P and adjusting preferences)
The printer driver is fairly 'all-inclusive' and submits to page obligation at up to 16 pages per sheet, watermarks, size reduction and a series of digital modifications. They include sharpening and softening an image and increasing the level of detail in darker areas by using a digital flash. HP also offers its EPC (EasyPrinterCare) software you are able to use it to track your print usage and automate the purchase of supplies.
Disadvantages of the 3000n
Considering this is meant for office usage (its quite cleat that HPs target group for this product was companies) the 3000n only sports 250 sheets at a time! (however you can use an additional 100 sheets using the multipurpose paper tray)
In offices the sound of this device may not be heard. However, this device is certainly loud if used at home ( very loud! 64 DBA!!!)
Conclusion
You will be a Happy Person (HP) if you have a business or school to run (anything with administrative)....personally I would not recommend this for the home! Otherwise a good product!
