A company that i have recently done work for has purchased a number of these machine (my job was to set up the network, and install the computers).
On the outside: ===========
The computer case is finished in black and silver and makes it look fantastic! The computer is in a small form factor case, meaning it won't take up as much space on your desk as a normal sized machine!
On the front of the machine, there are the following ports: - Headphone - Microphone - 2 x USB 2.0
And on the rear, there are:
-4 x USB -1 x serial port - 1 x parallel port - 2 x PS/2 (keyboard and mouse) - 1 x RJ-45 - 1 x VGA - Audio In - Audio Out - Headphone - Mic In
As you can see there are lots of USB ports (6 in total)! Which is great as now practically any computer pheripheral has the option to be connected with USB.
On the inside ===========
- P4 3.2Ghz with 400Mhz Front Side Bus with hyper threding - 2 x 256MB RAM (Total of 512MB) - 80GB 7200RPM Hard drive - ATA100 Hard drive controller - AGP 8x - DVD & CDRW Combo drive - Intregrated Gigabit ethernet
The spec shows just how capable this computer is! The gigabit ethernet is very useful in offices, as it's exceptionally quick.
In the future =========
Yes, this PC is upgradable! There are a few expansion slots, however not as many on a standard machine because of the reduced size:
It would be better if the 512MB of ram was on one stick, as then you could just add another stick of 512 in the future, but as it stands you may have to buy two more sticks.
The Warranty: ==========
A Three year on-site next business day guarantee for parts and labour is offered as standard (This beats most suppliers 1 year warranty!)
Conclusion: =========
Personally i am a huge fan of compaq machines, they are of an exceptional quality. And quite clever. Many including the one have custom made PSU's etc...
I found these pc's very easy to set up. And would reccoment them to anyone wanting a PC to use in an office environment. Lovely machine!

Advantages: Fairly good spec for price, good room for updating in the future Disadvantages: Deceptive price -many peripherals not included. Also apart from processor spec not amazing
Advantages: A all around pc. great buy if you can find it for cheap. Disadvantages: No space to fit 2 drives in. cannot fit AGP graphics Card in (no room), only PCI graphics card.
