    In September my games PC packed up in spectacular fashion, and I had to bite the bullet and buy a whole new one as the old one was really beyond economical repair. Being of extremely limited funds, it was hard to know whether I’d be able to afford anything capable of running current-day games, especially as I’m a custom content creator for The Sims 3 and therefore need a PC capable of running it with all the highest sim and texture resolutions and the highest poly 3D models.     When looking for a new computer I look for good quality, reliability, functionality and performance. When it came to buying the HP Compaq Business Desktop Dx2420 I was able to find all of these at a very reasonable price. The chassis / case is well made and has a good modern design, as for the specifications this model has an Intel Pentium 2.5Ghz processor & SDRAM 2GB Memory, which is more than enough to run all business applications and most modern games very well.
