A Good Office Computer
Ok. Most of us know that HP aren't exactly the gaming specialists, they aren't the best for multimedia PC's but what they are good at is making office computers and boy do they make 'em good.
Office Work
I used one of these for two weeks whilst my computer was in repairs and for a week and a half of that time I was typing for over 4 hours a day, trying to get my coursework done. In the time I was using this computer not once did I have to hit control, alt and delete, nor did I have to reset the computer. It ran smoothly up until when I tried playing games on it.
Gaming
After I had finished my coursework I installed the popular game Call Of Duty 4. This ended in tears and frustration. I had a frame rate of around 15 FPS which is insufficient to play such a game. The game was virtually unplayable, I had to reset within 2 minutes of running the games. Online games however work perfectly.
Music and Video
I also used this to watch a film. The quality was not bad, the colouring was good, there was no video lag and the sound was very clear, even with a cheap £7 set of speakers. There is 160gb of hard drive, which is more than enough space to store 1000's of songs.
Final Verdict
This computer was not built for gaming so in that section you can't really expect much however the computers ability to word process with little difficulty, its ample amount of disk space and its satisfactory 1gb memory make for a good office or home computer.
