I have had this laptop now for 5 months and overall am very happy with it. SCREEN The main reason for choosing this model was the screen ( 1680x1050 widescreen) and it doesn't' disappoint. The resolution is way above what you usually get in this price range and is perfect for photo and video editing providing plenty of desktop space. Yet anoter fantastic product from HP Hp is a global company that has been running for over 6 decades, so you know that when you buy a hp, you know what you are getting for your money. I have owned many HPs and been happy with many hp's and this is no exeption. The price is fantastic and it has very good specifications to match. I ordered my HP Compaq 6715b from PC World Business on 01 Oct 07 (£708.00 incl VAT). The machine arrived at the store (CR0 postcode) three days later (04 Oct 07). Took it home and charged the laptop as advised. The next morning (05 Oct 07), the transformer wasn't working, so the battery wasn't being charged. I contacted PCW Customer Services for their advice. I was told that someone from the store would call me back within the hour. Two hours later, I contacted PCWCS again and was told that it was unlikely that the store would contact me, and would have to wait until Monday morning. Too late ... more
