Not sure of the rules/etiquette so please excuse me (or let me know) if I get it wrong.

I've got a HP Compaq Business Notebook6910p, as provided by my work as my laptop. I've had a lot of laptops in previous years, and I use it all day, then cart it home for use in the evening too so I do consider myself a bit of a power-user. I've had this one for just over a year now.
Company policy is XP SP2, so, although it comes with Vista on it these days, the one I use has been re-flashed back to XP. I also had it upgraded to 2GB memory on advice from a colleague.
I use the machine for general office-duties; Word, Excel, PPT, Access, Outlook, Web etc. and also for development use too; (X)HTML, CSS, PHP, ASP, mySQL. I don't use it for anything graphically intensive, like games so can't comment on that side of things.
The good stuff: Good clear screen, no dead px. Standard keyboard layout. Generally performs well (and probably caused by network then not to be honest) although remember I'm running XP. I use an optical mouse in work and touch-pad at home; both methods are equally effective.
The not so good stuff: I had a hard disk crash within a month of getting the machine, this required replacing which was easy enough and under warranty, so other than the hassle factor, OK: no problems since. The screen has a matt finish and I've never managed to work out what to clean it with, so it appears permenantly streaky in the sunlight.
In summary, a good piece of kit.

(+) cool and quite robust trackpad, good display,64-bit windows 7 (-) few connectors, dell drivers only, not realy for gameing (most models), finger print prone!
Hi there, why shall I buy something that expensive ? Well, Your review doesn't tell all and maybe not the truth, sorry, but there's no other rating, too less details (and experience) ... Please inform when You've edited this one for a re-rate ... Cheers, Sven
