Hp has good range of business series notebooks with its popular pavilion brand also. Pavilion brand is middle range notebooks with average features but the business series notebooks have slightly higher cost and good extra features also. HP Compaq notebooks also have a good features with budget category notebook stamp. **** Here I am going to discuss about Business notebook from HP and that is HP Compaq Business Notebook 8510p. Notebook has lots of good features but there is lack of some features also. I will discuss about its processing speed with advantages and disadvantages as well. **** Processing speed Processor, the main function in every computing machine and it is more important to be considered before buying any notebook or desktop. This notebook also has good multi core processor, Intel Core 2 Duo T8300 with total clock speed of 2.4 GHz. L2 cache size is also something better than its rivals with about 4 MB. Front size data bus speed is also very good with 800 MHz of total front size bus speed. Over all this is a good processor for notebook to run any latest application or gaming experience. For better speed and smoother running of notebook, there is good processor with high clock speed and high capacity RAM is required. If you want to get even better experience in gaming and and applications than you need good graphics card also. **** Memory Phone has internal RAM with 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM - 800 MHz. RAM size is average and the speed is slightly less than bus speed of processor. Notebook also supports maximum 4 GB of RAM and we can upgrade it to 4 GB if required. As per my opinion 4 GB RAM will be better if you are planning to use this notebook for 3D and graphics applications and in higher gaming experience also. **** Storage capacity Internal storage size is very less with 160 GB of serial ATA drive and I am unable to understand that why HP has provided this type of very low capacity drive. First I thought that it may be a SSD drive and as SSD drive 128 GB is a good capacity due to its higher cost and availability in such a lower capacity. But STA drive is very cheap now a days and there is no problem with keeping 250 GB hard disk drive. Many other notebooks in this category already have 250 GB or more storage capacity. **** Graphics card Graphics card is very important feature in any notebook, and in this notebook there is good installed graphics memory with ATI Mobility Radeon X2600, and 256MB of total available graphics memory. Memory size is good for average gaming experience and 3D applications. **** Battery back-up Battery back-up is slightly improved with 8 Cell lithium ion battery instead of traditional 6 cell battery and we can get about 4 hours of total power back-up and this is good enough for any notebook. All other features are something like common with compare to other notebooks. **** Over all conclusion Over all this is a good business series notebook from HP with all important features available and good processing speed with better graphics memory. Recommended.
