    After reading reviews until I dreamt in star ratings, "Pros" and "Cons", I decided to purchase a HP Compaq NX6110 laptop in December 2005. I had had several Compaq laptops in the past and when this particular model won the Best Buy award in Computer Shopper at the time, I decided I would treat myself. At less than £350, I thought that this was a bargain not to be missed, so I promptly ordered one.     Ive been using this laptop now for about 6months and I have to say ive been very impressed by it. This laptop isnt perfect but overall Its a nice solid laptop cable of performing the tasks which I require from it. Design Not really much to say on the design front, pretty typical of HP laptops its clean, simple and compact.     When I came to university this year, I decided I needed a laptop. Many of my friends who had already gone had recommended that I get one. Knowing a little about computers, I searched high and low for a laptop which was both packed with features, but also priced at the right level for me. The computer I ended up with was the HP Compaq nx6110. Although this is listed as a business computer, it is in fact ideally suited to a student.     Advantages Advantages Good list of features, slim, light and good value!

    Disadvantages Disadvantages No DVD-RW drive, no floppy, no volume keys, little software included.

    Firstly I'd like to say that this is my works laptop so it is used daily for many hours a day. All that time it has been totally reliable! I have had this laptop for little over a month now. First impressions is that it looks very expensive and with all the equipment it has it is very slim and light. The quality as with most HP laptops is very good, it has a very nice black finish to it, however this can look greasy after use from sweaty palms. The display - The display on the whole is very good.     The HP Compaq nx6110 Notebook is with useful it is good for taking around, and at the price of £450 - 550, it is a very reasonable. It can also be connected to the internet on the move using a mobile phone. It is very well designed and you can basically run your life from this if you wanted too there are so many features you can add to laptops now. It has a very nice design a slick black for that professional edge. You can use these casually for university or business; everybody will be looking at you and wondering what you're doing on it.
