I purchased this laptop around a month ago, and about to have a replacement one sent to me tomorrow!
Turns out battery faults are a common problem with this model, either the battery dies, the adapters faulty or the motherboard blocks the battery recieving power from the AC.
If you happen to have these problems, the hp forums are very helpful, I couldn't say the same for their call centers though, could not understand a word that 'Romeo' the indian legend said.

Ok well now I've got the bad out the way, the good is surely to follow! Brilliant speed for a 1.8 Ghz, although I recommend you whack in another 512 of RAM to beef that baby up!
The fingerprint scanner is amazing, very bond! Tested it out on my friends and family, no one else was able to bypass it except me, so it works.
For all you gamers out there such as myself, the graphics card is good enough to play games such as hl2, CS and WoW. Although I set the graphics to lowest for optimum performance.
The computer also synced perfectly with my wireless router first time (Belkin high speed) with talktalk as my isp.
One tip though, delete all the hp help crap that comes pre-installed on the computer, its all pretty useless.
