To begging with it came with the cutter defective it took HP about a two weeks to have a new cutter send to the technician that was fixing the plotter. When I finally got my cutter working properly the car in which the cutter runs was not working properly. The technician requested info from HP and never got and answers back. I had to call personally HP to see what was going on and was told I was going to be contacted by the person that was taking care of my case never got that call back. Size is sometimes very important Review of HP DesignJet 130 by Miskah Advantages: Prints are massive and very high quality Disadvantages: Big initial outlay - unlikely to be useful for the average home user. ...were allowed to have a demonstration. It costs £820.12 excluding VAT (as we are a registered charity for fundraising purposes we don’t pay VAT) adding VAT to the price will raise it to £963.64. It does appear to be a large amount of money, but many other departments in the NHS and social services are in the same boat so we will be able to share with them. We charge reasonable rates; enough to cover the price of inks, wear and tear plus a few pence profit per sheet but we expect them to supply paper- if they don’t we charge over the market price for the inconvenience. We charge more for A1 prints as these have to be fed in individually unless they provide a staff member to do this and we charge less for A2 as these are automatic. This printer over its first month generated enough to cover a ¼ of its cost which isn’t bad HP DesignJet 130, A1... Good quality Winprinter Review of HP Deskjet 820cxi by cpt-kirkjamest Advantages: Good quality on ordinary paper, fast Disadvantages: Flaky drivers, does not support Postscript ...I wanted a colour inkjet and the HP Deskjet 820 Cxi seemed like a good choice, so I got one. Installation was easy using the instructions and disks provided. Be aware that the printer drivers can be flaky at times, so make sure you get the latest version from the HP website. The printer itself is fairly stylish and has only two, easy-to-use buttons - on/off and resume/form feed. The two print cartridges (black and colour) slide out for easy inspection when the lid of the printer is opened. This printer produces good quality printouts on ordinary paper (I don't use special printer paper), with resolutions of 300 dpi in colour and 600 dpi in black and white.
