The benefit of using Original HP inkjet print cartridges is that they offer consistent print quality and reliable performance.With the HP 350 you can expect "archival-quality documents that resist fading for decades" thanks to HP Vivera Ink. Although HP print cartridges are coming down in price you can still expect to pay a lot more than other substitute brands.
The real question is whether the extra money is worth it. With some of the alternative products on the market today I am inclined to believe you can the same quality for less money.
Many alternative inkcartridges contain more ink than official HPcartridges, however the problem with these cartridges is not always being sure of the quality of the product you are buying, nor the reliabilty ...

I am currently using this printer. I am now getting the value for my money. It prints fast at a speed of up to 8ppm colour and 12ppm black, clear and high quality upto 600x600dpi. It has duplex print options, 2 paper trays with input capacity of a maximum 150 sheets and maximum output of 125sheets. It has a high processor speed of 45mhz, supports nearly all media types i.e brochure, colour, glossy, photo, plain, preprinted, recycled, rough, lebels,envelopes etc. It prints on A4, A5, A6 media sizes and has a 1144 pin DDR2 Dimm slot with a memory of 96 - 352mb. Another good thing is that it is compatible with most operating systems and can be nrtworked.

In my opinion the HP 350XL print cartridge is good value for money. It provides a high quality print everytime on a variety of different papers and lasts a really long time. I definately think it is worth while buying the XL cartridges as they work out cheaper in the long run. I bought this product when printing my dissertation at university and despite the fact that it was over 200 pages long and i had to make 2 copies the cartridge lasted the whole time as well as having some ink left over. The ink was also quick drying so it was very smudge resistant even on glossy paper. I would recommend this product to anyone who is thinking of buying a black inkcartridge for their HP printer. ...
