Advantages Advantages Compactness, Cost ( 54 Pounds ), Ease of use, Print quality.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Printing Speed, Aesthetic appeal

Did you ever hear about a certain ‘Tortoise & Hare’ race where the hare is slower than the tortoise? Well!! The HP 3325 is surely the best example for this kind of a Hare – Steady but SSSLLLOOOWWW!!!! My friend had bought this ‘Bunny’ for the internet café joint he just opened. Trust me you’ll be satisfied if and only if you’ve got loads of time to waste. Want to know what I mean? Then just check out the detailed review below: - ***BUNNY SPEED. [2/5]*** I gave the ‘OK’ ( I regret doing so ) for a colour printout & OH GOD !! it took an ... more

Advantages Advantages Cheap, good for light printing

Disadvantages Disadvantages Expensive consumables, poor photo printing

Hands up anyone who owns a computer but not a printer? One of the most important accessories for a computer is a decent printer and what to get depends on your needs. The hp DeskJet 3325 is a small colour printer aimed firmly at the home market and weighs in at a lightweight £49 RRP, but is it any good? NB: Summary at end of review. What’s in the box? Printer. Black cartridge. Colour cartridge User guide. Power supply. CD with the printer drivers (software that allow your computer to talk to your printer) Handy step-by-step set-up poster. NB: If any of these are missing, you can pop back to ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages Sounds and feels like a threshing machine

SEE MY ADDED FOOTNOTE (PS) AT THE END The HP 3325 is a basement budget thermal colour inkjet printer with a good colour rendition. It is compact, easy to use and very attractively priced at around £50. I bought it as a cheap interim replacement for my much more expensive Canon 9000 which is awaiting a new print head. I need to print letters and this was a cheap solution. I didn’t really need colour but it was the cheapest model in my local small town computor shop. WAS I IN FOR A BIG SURPRISE !! Apart from one criticism that I shall mention later, I have discovered that not only does this ... more

Advantages Advantages Amazing results for a budget price printer.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Not quite as quiet as rivals.

Over Christmas I decided to upgrade my Canon BJC 4300 to a newer printer mainly because I had it for a number of years and it started to print lines where it shouldn’t. I decided to choose another Canon version BJC 250. BIG MISTAKE. I had major problems with the paper input feeding, the printing speed and the quality. I swiftly took it back and decided to try a HP as a friend of mine had recommended the performance. I have now had the HP 3325 for 5 months and so far I have been very impressed, especially when the added advantage is it cost only £49.99, (If interested I saw the same model in ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good quality prints

Disadvantages Disadvantages Pretty slow and ink costs a fortune

I got this printer a couple of years ago with my new TIME PC out of Tesco, the whole deal was £600 so I don't know what the actual price of the printer was, but whatever it was it was too much. (I believe from reading around it was £50-£60 at the time.) Now don't get me wrong it makes very high quality prints, however it is unbelievably slow for a jet printer! I have a printer I bought in 2001 which runs at twice the speed and uses ink which costs a fraction of the price of the stuff this machine uses. Now I'll give you a couple of current price checks... Now obviously its long off the ... more
