    On returning to work after maternity leave, I discovered in my absence the IT department had purchased new printers for each member of the admin staff – yippee – no more sharing printers. At a cost of £89, the Hewlett Packard DeskJet 3650 is a compact and economical printer for personal (or in our works case) light use.     HP Deskjet 3650 The Packaging This is a colour inkjet printer, which comes in a rectangular shaped box which is 48cm long, 26cm tall and just over 9cm wide. The box is white with a large picture of the printer on the front and back., along with the basic information about the printer in English, Portuguese, Spanish and what I think is Arabic.     HP DeskJet 3650 I won this printer 2 years ago with Dooyoo, which was a pleasant surprise just near Christmas. This printer has been used for printing my CVs and my assignments. As I didn't buy this printer, I don't know the original price but I'm guessing like most HP printers, it would of cost between £100-200 depending on the time of purchase. You can buy this printer starting from 9.99 on Ebay and Ebuyer.com is selling it for £25 + £ 5 delivery.     We purchased the HP deskjet 3650 in February after the failure of our previous Epson printer only 6 months after buying it. We had originally had a Hp printer which saw its demise several years after purchase, although we had been happy with it for a long time. Knowing that Hp was a good quality make, we decided to buy the deskjet 3650, on recommendation from the assistant at Staples office superstore, and we have not been disappointed by it.     Advantages Advantages Extremely fast print speeds, very good qauilty prints, compact and light

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Print cartridges are pricey; from 14.99- 22.99

    This printer is ideal for everyday use. The cartridges hold a useful amount of ink. It folds up into one little shape which is compact and ideal for a shallow shelf. A USB cable is not supplied with this printer, and it needs one to operate, no slow serial cables here! So i had to buy one, don't be fooled by annoying sjop assistants trying to sell you a expensive USB cable. My dad paind 14.99 for a cable, which retails else where at 4.99. Please shop around instead off getting conned. Print qauilty is very good, sharp and solid blacks for pages of texts. If you have a new cartridge, you don't ... more
