Advantages: Still a good quality inkjet printer
Disadvantages: Old, prone to paper pick problems

...like this even on new HP Deskjet printers, I think it's about time HP did something about that. The only common fault with the printer is when it's old it doesn't always pick paper up form the intray and thinks there's no paper. This is a common problem on most HP Deskjet printers. this is a very good first printer and it is relatively cheap to buy. The quality of printouts is very good, although the speed, at about 4 pages per minute in black and white leaves something to be desired. The cartridges are quite expensive, and at £25 a go, running costs are inevitably high.
