this is a very good first printer and it is relatively cheap to buy. The quality of printouts is very good, although the speed, at about 4 pages per minute in black and white leaves something to be desired. The cartridges are quite expensive, and at £25 a go, running costs are inevitably high. Colour printouts are normally of a high quality, but it is very slow when doing these, and this causes other programs to slow down as well.
I would recommend this to anyone as a first printer because it is easy to use, easy to set up and prints to a high quality. However, if speed is what you want then you may be disappointed.
