The 895Cxi is the identical printer to the 895Cse. The Cse is only sold through retail, the Cxi is sold by resellers. The only difference is the software included. The 895Cxi comes with HP Printing Essential Kit: Office in Color for medium and large businesses. The Cse comes with HP Printing Essential Kit: Office in Color for small businesses. This desktop printer handles large workloads with its 3,000-page monthly duty cycle and 2MB RAM and 48KB receive buffer. It prints in color and black at 600 dpi, with three print modes: EconoFast, Normal and Best. Fastest print speeds are 10 ppm black and 6ppm color. The DeskJet 895Cxi can be used for color photo printing of photo-quality images with its exclusive PhotoREt II color layering technology. ColorSmart II technology automatically yields perfect color to produce on paper the colors seen on the screen. For text and monochrome prints, the 895Cxi produces crisp blacks and subtle grays even on plain paper. Plus, the exclusive HP print cartridge inks dry quickly for less smudging on prints. The printer comes with one black and one color ink cartridge. The 895Cxi input paper tray holds up to 100 sheets or 15 envelopes. Print on plain and special papers including card stock, envelopes, labels, transparencies and even iron-on transfers up to 8.5x14 inches in size. A continuous feed feature also prints banners. It includes scalable typefaces in portrait and landscape orientations. A unique feature of the DeskJet 895Cxi is the HP instant Delivery Software, which lets you schedule automatic delivery of Internet publications directly to the printer. The DeskJet 895Cxi connects with either a standard IEEE 1284-compliant Centronics parallel port or Universal Serial Bus port (see Accessories for cable). It is compatible with Windows NT 4.0, Windows 98/95/3.1x and MS-DOS applications through Windows 98/95/3.1x. The 895Cxi is network-capable with an optional HP JetDirect external print server. Hewlett-Packard backs the DeskJet 895Cxi with a one-year warranty.

When I first started using computers and accessories finding the perfect printer to do those excellent quality jobs was a task. My first printer being an Epsom I figured this was the best I was going to get. The print quality was fair but I wanted that extra quality and also for a printer that came in the package the ink was so expensive. I started working for a firm that used Hewlett Packard and thought the quality was excellent! I used that printer to make the companies flyer's, print out photograph's and even make notices for the workplace. I had to have one for myself at home. I checked around for prices and gathered I would have to pay that little extra for the top qaulity that I wanted and to be hones for what you get with this printer it is well worth the money. I have never had any trouble with it and the ink lasts forever and is half the price of the Epsom ink! For excellent quality, cheaper ink and relaibility pay the little extra for this printer.
