I have had a Hewlett Packard Deskjet 840c for quite a while now and I must say I have not had any problems with it.
The print speed is very good for an inkjet even with high colour images. Photo quality is good too. It is not a very noisy printer as some are.Very occassionally it does take more than one piece of paper at a time, but this is not usually a problem.
Ink cartridges are very easy to change and the whole process is always a very clean one. The 840c also prints envelopes without much problem unlike some of the printers I have used beofre!I would highly recommend this printer to anyone who wants an average use, good quality printer, for their home.
Other info: It has USB and parallel connections. Economical on cartridges. Software supplied is useful and easy to use.
