Sometimes the measure of friendship isn't your ability to not harm but your capacity to forgive the things done to you and ask forgiveness for your own mistakes.

When I started my PC-Shop, I used my HP Inkjet 3744. It was a durable one as I had been using it for about 2 years. Day by day doing my activities, I realized that I needed a better printer. Finally I choose HP DeskJet F380 because it comes with several nice features, such as a printer, a copying machine and a scanner.
Here I am going to share about it with you in general.
Why HP Printers?
Though there are various brands of printers in the market nowadays, I still love using HP printers. Before using HP Inkjet 3744, I had ever used some Cannon inkjets. Here I don't mean to say that Cannon inkjets are poorer than Hp inkjets, but I just want to share my experiences of using the printers.
Personally
I always print software programming manuals which I download from internet. The manuals usually come with illustrations and graphics. It consumes much ink, and I cannot stand buying new ink-cartridges as recommended by most manufacturers. That is why I love refilling my cartridges instead of buying the original cartridges.
Facing this condition, when I was using some Cannon printers, the heads of the Cannon ink- cartridges were always broken. It printed badly. To buy a new ink- cartridge cost much money (it always costs about 1/3 of the whole set of the printer). As I loved making experiences, I always tried to fix the problem, but it did not work as expected. I purchased another Cannon, and still had the same problem. Doing the ink-refilling experiments, I have purchased 3 Cannon cartridge heads.
Finally I felt hopeless with Cannon printers. I tried to use HP Inkjet 3744. I have learned that the ink- cartridges of HP and Cannon are absolutely designed differently. The head of Cannon is a separated part from its ink- cartridges. I have learned that its head is quite sensitive with the kinds of inks. When a different kind of ink applied, it tends to break its head!
On the other hand, HP ink- cartridges are not separated with their heads. Each cartridge comes with a head as a part. I see that the head is not sensitive with the kinds of inks refilled. But, we must know how to treat it well.
Here are some tips for you to refill HP cartridges.
- Don't touch, rub or cleanse its head with any tissues or other materials. - Use hot water to clean its head, and don't let the water splash onto its electrical components found on the surface of the cartridges. - Make sure to refill the cartridges before the cartridges dry out. - Don't refill the cartridges excessively. - After refilling the cartridges, put the heads of the cartridges on a piece of wet tissue about 5 minutes.
Just by doing the tips above, I can refill my cartridge safely without damaging its head. Certainly the refilled cartridges also give good results of printing.
Here is just an additional note from me, I sometimes use e-Print inks and sometimes Data Print inks to refill my cartridges.
As the conclusion, my choice falls on HP products because I can do refilling safely with good quality.
I choose this multifunction printer is based on practical and economical perspectives. Practically, I just need one device and certainly it saves space on my desk; I do not have to purchase a scanner nor a photocopy-machine.
It helps me much when I want to reproduce pricelists or brochures for my consumers. I just put the master pricelists on the glass, and press a button to make a copy or some copies as required.
On the other hand, I can use it as a scanner, too. I can scan brochures or other pictures (photos) as my documentation in my PC for future reference or use.
This device is designed well. The buttons are found on the left side of the surface of the printer. It is really easy to operate the device, especially by utilizing the accompanied software. The software itself is easy to install and operate.
Additionally, though the device is not connected to a personal computer, it still works for photocopying. It works as a photocopy-machine!
HP DeskJet F380 is not only my own preference. Once I tried to introduce this product to a friend of mine. He was interested and purchased one from me. To my surprise, before a month of running my PC Shop, I have sold 6 units of HP DeskJet F380 printers. I teach them how to refill the cartridges properly in order to avoid damaging the heads of the cartridges, and my tips work for them. It is effective and increasing my sales!
It does not cost expensive in our currency (Indonesian Rupiahs). I sell it at £48 in your currency.
If you plan to purchase a new printer, I would highly recommend you to buy this F380 HP Printer.
