...Well, after scouring the internet for reviews on this projector, I decided to buy one. I picked it up for a great price (AUD$550 ex demo model). I wouldnt consider myself a projector expert by any means, but I've seen a fair few in action. The connectivity of this unit is pretty good. I use this projector instead of a TV at home, and predominantly use the component connections. With a good set of Belkin shilded leads, the picture is very crisp with great colour reproduction. DLP is the way to go - much better than any LCD projectors I've seen. I've also run video through the composite connections and the quality is not too bad at all. I've never run the unit through the VGA port but I would imagine it would not be too bad. The projector is set up about 2.5-3m away from the wall and works quite comfortably without maxing out... Advantages: Easy to use, good picture quality
Disadvantages: Fairly large by modern standards

...I was able to obtain this at a very advantageous price: at full RRP I probably would not have chosen it. Very easy to set up, though sometimes switching between the many options in the set-up menus can be cumbersome. Has the option of DVI input which not all projectors have, which suits my Apple Powerbook well, and I've been able to do joint presentations with both my Powerbook and someone else's PC-laptop plugged into the projector simulatneously, switching back and forth between the two computers simply using the projector's remote control. As with all DLP projectors the colours look a bit cold on screen, even after profiling with a Spyder, but it is a lot better than other (more expensive!) DLP projectors which I've seen in action....
