Advantages: Slick, lightweight design; good performance; built-in webcam; Disadvantages: Low battery life, glossy display can be reflective
In my eyes, the DV6 is proof that laptops are very affordable. The specs are:
AMD Turion 64, dual core processor
2 GB DDR2 memory
15.4â?³ WXGA High-Definition HP BrightView Widescreen Display (1280 x 800)
256MB NVIDIA(R) GeForce(R) Go 7200
160GB 5400RPM SATA Hard Drive
LightScribe SuperMulti 8X DVD+/-RW with Double Layer Support
1.3 Megapixel Webcam with mic built into screen
Altec Lansing speakers built in
3 USB ports, ExpressCard/54 Slot, Video Out,
Windows Vista Home Premium
these are the specs that the laptop my friend has.
One of the things that sold me on this laptop was the screen. The screen is excellent. It is bright and clear, and provides a respectable
1280×800 resolution in a widescreen format. there are other notebooks with higher resolution. but It really comes down to preference. For me, I ...

Ciao members have rated this review on average: somewhat helpful Review of HP Pavilion dv6
Advantages: VERY good picture quality + vibrant/rich colour reproduction. Disadvantages: Noise levels, slight blur when watching fast moving objects.
Well, after scouring the internet for reviews on this projector, I decided to buy one. I picked it up for a great price (AUD$550 ex demo model). I wouldnt consider myself a projector expert by any means, but I've seen a fair few in action.
The connectivity of this unit is pretty good. I use this projector instead of a TV at home, and predominantly use the component connections. With a good set of Belkin shilded leads, the picture is very crisp with great colour reproduction. DLP is the way to go - much better than any LCD projectors I've seen.
I've also run video through the composite connections and the quality is not too bad at all.
I've never run the unit through the VGA port but I would imagine it would not be too bad.
The projector is set up about 2.5-3m away from the wall and works quite comfortably without maxing out ...
Advantages: Superb Sound, Very Loud, Ideal for Ipods Disadvantages: not go to travel with, Extremely Expensive
Bose SoundDock Digital Music System
I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting
Summary:
This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these.
Pros:
This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential.
I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Can't get much simpler. It also runs off a wall ...
