Manufacturer's product description
Project a professional image with this wireless-capable, microportable digital projector from HP. The HP mp3135 digital projector series offers wireless connectivity as well as storage capability with CompactFlash or USB Flash memory. Experience industry-leading brightness with 1800 ANSI (max.) lumens. The HP mp3135 digital projector series has a razor-sharp contrast ratio of 2000: 1 for clarity you'll have to see to believe. DLP technology leads the pack when it comes to quality and consistency on the screen. This proven digital technology provides crisp, grain-free images and consistent color year after year with no fading or loss of color fidelity. Industry-leading color science from HP uses a five-segment wheel versus the industry standard of four segments, making pastels purer, reds richer, and yellows brighter. With the HP mp3135W digital projector, you can go from your office to the airport to a conference room with your projector in one hand and your presentation (stored on a USB Flash device or a CompactFlash memory card) in your pocket. Why weigh yourself down with extra equipment? With direct PowerPoint, the projector directly renders PowerPoint files, bypassing conversion processes. Save packing and presentation space with the HP mp3135 digital projector series. You'll even have room left in your briefcase for a newspaper and bagel. The projector's vertical design saves space and rises above obstructing coffee cups and table clutter, ensuring a stress-free setup. Now there's no stopping to make awkward equipment corrections when you're in the middle of an important point. Before you begin, set the horizontal picture and you're done! The HP mp3135 digital projector series automatically adjusts the vertical for you. With automatic keystone correction, ensure that projected images are perfectly square and undistorted for flawless presentations audiences will remember. Whether you're giving a PowerPoint presentation with charts and graphs or running video, you need a clear, bright, crisp picture. The HP mp3135 digital projector series puts the choice at your fingertips. Image optimization lets you select the best quality, regardless of the type of presentation. If you prefer the flexibility of manually adjusting your projector, press either the theater button to optimize the picture for video input or the business graphics button to optimize the picture for data input.

Advantages: Bright Clear display Disadvantages: Quite Expensive, Not quiet
...The HPMP3130 digital light processing (DLP) projector differs from most others in the market as it sits vertically rather than horizontally. HP's reasoning behind this is that, if placed on a table, it will be able to rise above the coffee cups and notebooks.
Weighing less than 2kg, it's also extremely portable. Buttons and sockets are clearly labelled on the unit and it comes complete with a remote control. The remote feels a little delicate, especially when extended to it's full length, but it does include a handy laser pointer.
The DLP chip housed within the MP3130 consists of more than one million mirrors that reflect that reflect individual pixels onto the screen. This provides more control over the image when compared with LCD projectors, as well as being producing a brighter image. Indeed, with an impressive 1,800 Ansi lumens...

Advantages: Great price, picture printing quality Disadvantages: Steep prices for replacement ink cartridges.
...I just bought a new digital camera knowing that I would need a way to get the pictures off my computer. The easiest solution to that was for our family to get a printer. I did some research and found that the HP 5550 would suit our needs just fine.
There are so many pro's for the HP 5550 that I need to just make a list so it's easier to understand. Here goes:
1. The price of the printer. It was only 149.99.
2. The fantastic resolution quality. I get 4800x1200 dpi maximum resolution.
3. Both parallel and USB ports.
4. 8 MB of buffer memory. For those big documents that have tons of pages.
5. Convenient size of the printer.
6. The fact that it is HP and they have fantastic customer support.
7. Duplex ability.
8. 100 input tray and 50 page output tray.
There are however a few cons to the HP 5550 that I have found as well:

In summary:
* Very unintuitive, convoluted and unpleasant to use (same on Win2K as XP)
- sometimes the SW hangs during scan and needs a reboot
- sometimes the SW crashes with a dialogue "try reinstalling HP software", and needs a reboot

I am in no way a professional photographer, indeed I am more a 'point, click and pray for the best' type photographer, but this camera has made my results much better than expected. I actually got this camera as a second choice after the one I wanted was more
