Advantages: Nice little pocket camera with all the necessary features Disadvantages: Can't really think of anything
...I am not an expert on digital cameras and this is just the second one I bought. So I cannot really compare the Ixus 80 with other cameras. Nevertheless, I really like it.
Looks
The Lxus 80 comes in Classic Silver, Caramel, Chocolate and Candy Pink in an aluminium body. It is small enough to fit in a pocket and can be tacken anywhere with no problems. As far as I can say it is very reliable and does brilliant pictures for a normal user.
Features

As far as I know this is not standard on all cameras yet, but becomes more normal in newer models. The lens is glass, so it?s definitely an advantage towards cameras with a plastic lens. You can certainly see that in the quality...

Advantages: Sooo Many Features Disadvantages: Battery problems
...I was so scared to get this camera because I thought that I would never get used to it so I hung on to my HP 3.2 MP for such a long time until it died on me. I needed a new and dependable digital camera with more mega pixels. I decided to go with another HP because I was so familiar with my old HP 3.2 that I thought it couldn't be that much different. It is very different and I was nervous using it for the first month but now I know this camera backwards and it really isn't that complicated. It does So many cool things most of which are probably unnecessary. Everyone who sees it wants one and I get asked about it a lot. The screen is huge. This camera has 10 MP which at the time was a huge selling point but I have since learned that no normal person needs that many mega pixels.
You will have to get used to taking pictures...
