Like the other larger laptop from the same range, its also comes in a steel case, this not
only makes it look good but also makes it feel really sturdy to hold and really robust.

While this one doesn?t look quite as modern and nice as the smaller version of it, the laptop still have a new and modern design and look about it.

The laptop offers 2gb of ram and this really does make this machine run fast. And if the 2 gb isn't enough for you (although I cant see this amount ever not being big enough for you), then you can easily upgrade your ram to 8gb. This will just make everything even faster than it already is, so if you so really need your laptop to be a bit faster then you have got this option at a later date. This is really good because what tends to happen is that as your laptop gets older, and your add more programs and files, it eventually gets slower and slower, this is just something that happens, so having this extra 6gb of ram available to be installed into the laptop means that if it does start to run slower than you want it to, then you can easily have extra ram installed.

The laptop is also a hell of a lot quicker than the smaller notebook, its Intel® Core?2 Duo Processor T9400 runs at speeds of 2.53 Ghz and makes using it really fast and efficient.

The hard drive is also very good, its 160 gb, which is smaller than the bigger laptop but its larger than the smaller notebook from Hp, I think it?s a good medium and 160 gb offers a fair size for most peoples storage needs.

The screen size is only a touch smaller than most at just 14.1 inches, and as the laptop is not really that small, it hosts a full sixed keyboard. The larger screen size and full sized keyboard makes this laptop easier to do work on than the smaller model.

So, the laptop as a good spec, but what it like for portability?
It may not be tiny, but it is still quite small. Its only 33.1 cm wide, 24.3 cm in depth and just over 3 cm high when closed so as you can see, it is very easy to carry about with you.
It is also very light, despite being encased in steel, it still only weights 2.2 Kg and feels really light when you pick it up.
One really good thing about this laptop though, is despite it feeling really light to pick up, it doesn?t feel flimsy in the slightest. This is down to its steel casing which not only looks good but also serves a purpose in protecting the laptop as well.

The battery life is also great on this laptop, it offers you just under 6 hours of battery life with ongoing use.
To say this is only about half an hour less than the smaller model this is fantastic as the screen is a lot larger and it also has a lot faster processor speeds too.

This laptop is great for doing work on not only at home, but also when out and about, its not quite as small as their other one, and its also not as good looking as the other one either.
However this laptop is about £400 cheaper than the smaller version is, its almost got as good battery life, and it?s a lot faster whilst still holding a larger hard drive too.
The larger laptop of the three got 4 stars, as did the smaller one, but this one is 5 stars all the way and I recommend this to anyone who wants a good laptop, whether it be portable or not.
