I'm using for a Hp G56 laptop. it's a great laptop. The keyboard feels lovely. The webcam is great. The sims 3 runs great on it load really quickly. It was 'plasticy' but i think looks great and its what you would expect for the price that you pay for it. It has 3 USBs. The screen is big and it is relatively light for carrying It has wireless to connect to the BT home hub from different parts of the house. The laptop which I chose was the HP G56 there because they offer a two year guarantee as standard on laptops as opposed to having to buy the second years warranty from other stores. There is an excellent HP help menu which guides you through how to use and customise your laptop in simple, easy to understand and follow, instructions. The instructions are set out in such a way that makes them interesting and exciting to make you want to learn more and understand fully how to use the laptop in its full capacity. My previous laptop did not have a webcam and i was unsure about how I would get to grips with this, however the webcam application was pretty basic and after a couple of minutes i could navagate around this with ease. The applications that are on the laptop are set out in an easy to access layout. There is a childrens application wizard which has a number of learning games and child friendly internet access that parents can set so that the children to not have access to any unsuitable information. The only negative point would be that the battrey life is quite short so i would not recommend this laptop to someone that is constanly on the move.

Processor- HP G56-129WM comes with intel cleron processor, which operates at the speed of 2.2 GHz. Though it has only one core. Most of the newer processors including core i3 come with two cores and you will find the processor performance sluggish, but still decent enough for emails, surfing, word and spreadsheets.

RAM- HP G56-129WM offers 3GB DDR2 RAM. Note that memory is DDR2 type not DDR3. So their might be lag in performance if you compare it to DDR3 RAM equipped machine. As told earlier, HP G56-129WM is able to perform home computing, watching videos and photos.

Graphics- It comes with Intel GMA 4500M graphics which is for entry level laptop. You can play basic games but hard to play powerful games.

Operating system- The machine is based on Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit Edition

Display- the 15.6 inches display of G56-129WM laptop is LED display,
