Verdict
Logitech Dialog 812 Headset is a great device. The rubberized headband is soft and comfortable with a double-band that keeps it from slipping from my head. I love the earpieces that deliver high-quality sound output. My 2-year-old kid tore the foam fittings but it didn't actually affect the sound output though the loss of foam fittings made the earpieces slip from my ears sometimes. It is comfortable to wear this headset though it ...
Advantages: very cheap Disadvantages: only go on one direction
This head set has no special features, it is what it is. It has a long lead so you don't have to sit very close to you computer and an adjustable head size so anyone can use it. You can adjust the microphone position so it sits where you want it.
When I got this headset I was amazed at the quality of sound it produces. It was only a cheap thing, £5.00 from Amazon and I just got it so I could talk to my friends whilst on a computer game. I did not expect the amazing quality. Most of the time it is the quality you pay for but it matches my brothers £35 head set.
It is so easy to use and all you need to do is plug it in and it works. It works well with lots of different programs and is great for the word program "on office 2003" where you speak and it types for you.
The only small problem is that it has to go on a specific way ...
Advantages: Great looks, handy charge cable included Disadvantages: Not great sound quality, no play and charge facility
The microsoft xbox 360 wirless headset is very attractive and fits the ear very well - at least it fits mine anyway. The headset isnt particularly good at picking up quiet speech though, which is often a let down during games that require alot of detailed communication for tactics such as Gears Of War 2 or Call Of Duty WAW.
The headset is priced at £34.99 RRP, which i think is quite reasonable for what you're getting. The headset comes with full instructions and a charge cable that plugs into the 360's USB point. It cannot be used in a play-and-charge situation which gets annoying so you have to leave it overnight to charge. It is mcuh less cumbersom that the various wiredheadsets on the market and has a good range using the 360's infra red technology system.
There is a small silver button on the side used to turn the headset ...
