HP Jetdirect 625n Gigabit Ethernet Print Server features Gigabit/Fast Ethernet networking (10/100/1000 T Ethernet solution, up to 6.5 MB per second throughput) for HP EIO-based peripherals; internal print server slides into the EIO slot of compatible peripherals - reducing the number of cables to the printer (no power cords, no USB or parallel cables). The print server provides full operating system and protocol support and best security features.
Advantages: Simple, Effective, cheap Disadvantages: None as far as I can see
...at all. Normally one would install the printers over the network and work from their. Thankfully however you can usually skip moving the printer around the house to install it on each PC if you just ignore the test settings for it. Then the Belkin drivers work well.
Given the way this printserver works it is not directly compatible with either Linux or Macs. For Macs the solution is simple, just search online for some drivers and thou shalt receive. Im using a print protocol called GiMP, this claims to work under Linux variants as well, though I haven't tested this.
Overall the device is good, it connects well to wireless networks and can use the wired connection equally as well. It is able to cope printing large documents (ie large in memory usage) and never seems to crash on me. As I've said its connected to my laser printer and has...

Advantages: Print quality, ease of use Disadvantages: Too expensive
...This print cartridge is designed for use with the Hewlett Packard P 700, 800, 900 and 1100 series of Deskjet printers. We have a couple of 840C printers at my work place and we get through a fair amount of these HP45 cartridges!
The HP45 is a black ink cartridge with a 42ml capacity. The lifespan on this cartridge will vary greatly according to the printing mode and resolution used on the printer.
This toner will retail at around the £20-£22 mark depending on which supplier you use.
The cartridge comes in a small cardboard package. It is held in place by a cardboard surround that can sometimes be a bit of a battle to remove, depending on which way up you open the packaging!
In Use
To make the cartridge ready for fitting into the printer, you first need to remove a plastic strip from the bottom of the cartridge. This...

...This review is on the HP (Hewlett Packard) Inkjet Black Ink Cartridge, which I use in conjunction with my HP printer for my computer.
I bought this one on this particular occasion in my local Staples store for £18.49, although I had originally gone in there to buy one of their own brand makes which are around £5 cheaper. However, you do pay for the quality that you get and yes you do pay for the name as you would expect with anything these days! I'm not being a snob, but sometimes I do just like to be walking down the road with a top brand name in my hands (even though it may just be an ink cartridge).
But back to the quality, and this particular one is the larger one of the two 56 series that HP now do for t heir printers. But this one this size, the packet claims that this bigger size can do up to 3 times more prints than...
