These monitors have excellent picture quality, I'm not just saying that compared to its price, it really does have quality. I've watched movies on this monitor that I've enjoyed watching more than when I watch them on an Plasma screen television.

The image size is perfect in relation to the tube size. On no other monitor have I seen this demonstrated as well as on the HP 1702.

Its colour sensitivity isn't as good as could be hoped, and so this aspect disappoints the whole product. For example, when I had taken a few photographs and displayed them on the screen they looked quite different to what was coming out of my printer.

The design of this monitor is very smooth. It has a black back panel, which contrasts against its silver front. Four silver buttons line the bottom of the frame. (from left to right) Menu select button, an auto button which also acts as a back key for the menu options, next is a forward key for the menu, and last is the power button for the monitor.
Also the design really makes the most of the screen display, the silver framing is of minimal size and so takes up less space.

It is very easy to use and install. There is an instructions manual with this product and all is explained in easy, step-by-step guides.
The instruction manual is very useful. It includes HP phone-lines that you can ring if you require assistance. And so manufacturer's support is plentiful, HP are after all at their peak.

Chosing a screen resolution is fairly easy, just by clicking on the menu button all options are displayed and if by some chance you setup the screen and can't reverse it; there is a default settings option which will bring you back to square 1.

This screen costs £210, I think this is alright value for money. The only variable which should have the item considered at a lower price is the colour sensitivity. But on the whole it has GOOD value for money.

I do recommend this product to other people, I myself own it and enjoy it, just be aware of what I have told you.

Thankyou for reading my review and I hoped you enjoyed it.
