I am writing a review on the printer HP Laserjet 1020. This printer is the one i use every day at work. i work in an office and i am an IT help desk administrator - so i deal with these printers every day.
The installation Connect up the printer to a computer then:
Insert installation disk You follow the onscreen instructions Click Install Printer Click next to set up printer Select Add printer and hit next Select connected directly to this computer Click Next Select usb cable and click next Click installing a new driver Click Next Select Typical Installation and hit next name the printer and hit next Click Install
Simple as that - obvious you can change which you select if you have to. Anyway....
This printer is very small and compact and doesn't take up too much room on a desk. It's a LaserJet printer which means it is very fast. It can hold up to 150 sheets of A4 paper and prints out in black and white. It uses a USB cable to connect to a computer. The printer cartridges can be purchased for £ 40 + in most shops and if you buy online it can be purchased for probably alot cheaper.
My Opinion I use this printer every day and I wouldn't swap it for the world, it's very handy and reliable and fits excellent on my desk. The quality of the printer is excellent - I have no complaints so far.
It can be used for a stand alone computer or used as part of a network. In my office I have to install and connect these printers every day and it's so easy to do. And I would definatly recommend these printers to anyone. They are probably more suited to an office as they are black and white and most home computers use colour printers but if you don't require colour then this printer is for you. All hp printers are excellent - I work with a good range of them and I think their excellent - over the years I have used a lot of different types of printers but HP is defiantly the best of them all. These type of printers are very cheap to buy as well which is an asset. Its about £80 in most online stores. Here is the spec for the printer:

Be Warned - Over usage can result in the roller burning out and could go in fire - it happened to one in my work but this printer was going constant all day I hope you liked my review
