Brought this on impulse when visiting my local PCworld store, I was feed up with my samsunglaser printer and its paper feed problems, and can only say how impressed I've been. Paper feed is great using a range of papers and light card, even works well on transparencies. Print quality is superb. I often use it at its lowest quality settings with toner saver selected and still find the output fine for most tasks - only using best quality settings for important letters or if I want higher quality pictures. Of course these pictures are only black and white but they still have great reproduction quality. The supplied memory is more than adequate - had to upgrade the memory in my samsung to get it to print high quality pictures but nothing I've sent to the 1022 has failed to print. Speed is great - not just when producing multiple copies but also time to print first page is probably the best of any printer I've ever used at home or work! The printer is much smaller than most laser printers looking more like an inkjet printer, which makes it much easier to fit on a shelf. Great printer, quick with excellent quality.
