im an admin clerk, and so using a printer is somthing I do day-in day-out. Ive only been at my current job for 6months and this printer has been a constant nightmare.
To be fair to the old bugger, it does a good job at printing when playing nice. It can even print double sided. It also prints quite quickly..no hanging around waiting for the info to be passed into its brain (depending on what is being printed).
But thats ... ...on it gets dark and scary...like a nighmare if you wish....

Use - ok, simple to use for basic printing but when things go abit wrong your'e buggerd! It has a small LDC screen on the top with buttons below it. However when you need to find info out about say a problem, you never know which button to press. And even when you hit the right one, the printer may decide not to work anyway. Putting the paper in is easy, just open the tray at the bottom. Howver - it does'nt hold much paper so you have to constantly watch for the red light (which says it's run out). Not very usefull for a busy office.
Other - Comes with a hell of a lot of wires - unsightly. Always breaking down or printing blanks. Sometimes uses all the paper in the tray and prints those funny little symbols on the top. Such a waste of good paper. Breaks down or malfunctions at least twice a week.

This piece of office equipment does it's job basically. It might constantly break down, but what doesn't? Definatly better for using in an office - coz theyre usually unsightly places anyway. And if you do want this lump of plastic it'll cost around £530 exl. VAT!
