The HP LaserJet 4050N is a network ready (comes with inbuilt 10/100 Base T network card) printer with 16MB of memory from the trusted stable of Hewlett Packard.
At 16 pages per minute and only 15 seconds before the first page is printed, it is a printer that will grace any office.
As mentioned in other reviews of this printer, the manual doesn't make the network installation clear enough, and you have to resort to the on-line manual supplied on CD to clear this up.
The print quality is excellent, and the control panel is easy to use.
The printer comes with 2 paper trays. The fist being a 100 page capacity "manual feed" tray, and the second a 500 - 600 page conventional tray.
There are many additional component which may be added such as an extra paper bin, hard drive (for stored print jobs etc.), duplexing unit and envelope feeder.
With prices currently between £1000 and £1100, the printer represents great value for money and comes thoroughly recommended
