Advantages robust design, print speed, ease of setup, handling of print queues,
Disadvantages none so far!
I've recently bought this for my school and have to say I am very satisfied with the printer.
I installed it to our main server which took minutes using the software CD. The networked computers all found the printer and our users can easily print to it. The printer hasn't faulted once and it is being used throughout the school day printing between 50 and 200 copies a day.The print quality is as you'd expect from a HP printer - good quality, no faded colouring and great alignment. From sending the print message the printer fires up in seconds and prints the file very very quickly. It will handle large print sizes with ease, churning out 50 pages without a problem.
Changing toners is a simple as eating chocolate cake! Just a simple pull out and push the new one in with a click. The toners itself last a fair while. I have bought two since owning the printer and they get a heavy use from our school. They are cost effective for what you get from them.I quite like the design of the printer. It isn't too large and will fit nicely into any office or workplace. It has a robust built to it and it doesn't feel too cheap. I cannot comment on support from HP as I have yet to bother them which is good news!
I'm no I.T expert and would recommend this printer to anyone who wants an easy to setup networkable printer which prints good quality prints and with speed.

Thanks for that. Yes I know HP don't suit everyone, but for our school and needs I really can't fault it as it hasn't once caused me a problem.

I have an HP printer too, although it is a different model to this one. I agree with all that you say, but a friend of mine thinks they are rubbish!
