The printer is a joy to work with - its reliable, quiet and does pretty much what it says on the tin. I have had no problems working with this on the network but I have encountered a few long issues when I want to print via USB.
Although I install the drivers from the CD supplied, it takes over an hour to install the DOT4 drivers. I managed to use the drivers I had on my server for the p3005 and that worked fine.
Other than that this printer is extremely good, reliable and a treat to use.

...decided to look into a HP as people had said they make some of the best printers.
I wanted a printer that was fast as we are working on a magazine-so I was after a fast bulk printing printer which this is good at. Up to 500 pages can be held in the tray which was sufficiant enough for what we wanted. The tray itself can be pulled out further. The output tray is at the top, which I personally prefe as unlike my old printer it means I can leave the ... ...having to dash over to catch the paper.
Also, I found the controle panal simple and easy to use. You can config the printer in a a nuber of ways, so that is is more suited to buisness or peronal use.
The quality itself is very good in images and text and is very fast. The design of the pronter itself isn't to big for this type of printer,either.
This is my only one critisim for it- I thought it was expensive compared to simmeler style printers, ...

The HPLaserJetP3005N is an A4 black and white laser printer meant for office use. The company I work for had decided to standardise all printers to cut costs on toners and so they didn?t need to buy so many different toners. The main printer in use was the HPLaserJet 2420N but this was discontinued and superseded by the HPLaserJetP3005 printers so I decided on this one. The P3005 printers come in several flavours. There?s the P3005 (no network), P3005N (with network) and P3005DN (duplex, with parallel connection and network). All of them have a USB connection. The P3005N costs £436.98 at Dabs.com, with the DN version costing slightly more and I replaced four printers with P3005N?s across several sites.
