HP Media Center m7071.uk Photosmart PC - P4 630 3 GHz

Advantages: Very Upgradable, Cheaply Priced, Very Reliable.
Disadvantages: The nVidia 7500LE is by no means an efficent card, No front case fan.

...I have found the Compaq SR2125UK a very powerful machine, I bought it as a secondary machine from PCWorld back in May 2007. When I first bought it I didn't realise it's full potential of what it's very upgradable motherboard can have. It's processor which comes shipped with it is an Intel Pentium D 915 which is around one of the first Dual Core processors around and is now starting to age a little, but this machine will happily take any Intel Core 2 Duo's. It'll also take up to 4GB of PC5300 DDR2 RAM and any PCIe x16 graphic card (with a PSU upgrade). So onto my first experience with this Compaq, after it had been delivered in a massive 4x4x4 foot box I was at first a little dissapointed to find a Micro ATX tower (smaller size computer) as alot of these towers which I've had experiences with have had cooling problems. Advantages: Great value

...Hewlett Packard's latest offering is a budget PC that's geared towards budding digital photographers. Until recently, a budget PC may not have been able to run the software needed to edit digital pictures at a decent enough speed, but with the 3GHz Intel Pentium 4 contained processor in this Pavilion, that shouldn't be any problem. This is helpfully complemented by 512Mb of memory and a generous 160Gb hard disk. The memory only takes up one of the four slots on the motherboard, so you can easily add some more at a later date. The Pavilion comes with a 128Mb ATI Radeon X300SE graphics card. This might struggle with some of the latest 3D games at high detail levels, but it's very capable of dealing with anything else. Advantages: this pc is one of the most best on the market for its price
Disadvantages: rather large and ugle

...this compaq as is all compaq computers is ugle but yet looks arnt every thing under that ugle casing is a great fast reliable comper system that i have seen i was impressed with this model i never once see this model crash yet the only one thing that would stop me from buying a compaq is that the boring and ugle looks on the outside are just outstandly horrible this comper is fast and extremely reliable the memory size was satisfactory and the extras were to also the design of the casing was very poor the surrport that was there was extreamly limited and the manual like mos manuals were unhelpful yet the value for money was exteamly good and i would recommend people to use for a first computer...
