I like the feel of the computer and it seems to be very well built. I shopped around for several weeks before deciding which mini lap top to purchase and In my opinion this is the best mini note book on the market for this price range. I tried out the Accer and a couple unknow name brands in the store but I kept coming back to this HP. I believe that HP has hit a home run with this mini note book.
Advantages: Good value of money Disadvantages: None
The good: Solid metal construction; full ExpressCard/54 slot; big keyboard.
The bad: Odd resolution loses a few pixels; no mobile-broadband options (yet); awkward mouse button placement.
The bottom line: HP offers a premium version of its plastic Mini1000 while keeping the price down, making the Mini 2140 the Netbook to beat.
Thanks to those added features--and some concerns about the added weight aside--the 2140 is currently My favorite Netbook less than $500.
