    Advantages Advantages BATTERY lasting almost seven hours on one charge,fairly large keyboard.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages can't run some of benchmark programs.

    The HP Mini 2140 is the latest entry in Hewlett-Packard's 2100 series of netbooks. The Mini 2140 has a fairly large keyboard (92% the size of a full-size QWERTY keyboard) with wide, flat buttons. The mouse configuration is same. Navigating and editing documents more difficult because the right and left mouse buttons flank the mousing surface .The mouse buttons on the 2140 are rubberized and rise above the surface, improving the mouse's manageability.     Advantages Advantages Solid metal construction; full ExpressCard/54 slot; big keyboard, size is small.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Odd resolution loses a few pixels; no mobile-broadband options; awkward mouse button placement.

    It has a clear, bright screen, wi-fi, inbuilt web cam, mic and speakers, Ethernet port, VGA out, mic in and headphone jack, 2 usb ports, nice large keyboard, 1GB RAM, 160GB Hard disc! I really like this product it's small, light and looks slick; however I think some people expect too much from this laptop range, they're sub notebooks people! I wanted a small machine, which it is. I wanted to be able to get on the net, which I can. I wanted to take my music with me and be able to play it, which again I can because of its 160GB hard disc!     Advantages Advantages Small, Contains an webcam.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Slow, Low colored webcam, Dies quickly.

    I'm an owner of the Hp 2140 Mini-note, I originally wanted a regular labtop but i ended up going with the mini note. At first i loved it, i downloaded McAfee virus protection and all my spyware to protect it and it was moving fast. After 2 or 3 months it started freezing and constantley and moving slow as ever, i redownloaded virus protection and took it to the store to be checked out, it still moves slow; some days worse then others. Ussaly you cant have more then 1 program up without it all freezing and having to retart it. I payed $250 for this and I do not think it was worth the price i ... more

    Advantages Advantages Good value of money

    The good: Solid metal construction; full ExpressCard/54 slot; big keyboard. The bad: Odd resolution loses a few pixels; no mobile-broadband options (yet); awkward mouse button placement. The bottom line: HP offers a premium version of its plastic Mini 1000 while keeping the price down, making the Mini 2140 the Netbook to beat. Thanks to those added features--and some concerns about the added weight aside--the 2140 is currently My favorite Netbook less than $500.
