A laser powered HP mouse-y mouse-y.

Advantages: Accurate, responsive, battery-free, excellent value
Disadvantages: PS/2 connection, occasional "pointer-wander"

~~~ Overview & Appearance ~~~ The HP PS2 optical scroll mouse is about as basic as mice come these days. Featuring left and right click buttons and a scroll wheel, this mouse seems to be the basic model shipped with all of their HP Compaq desktop PCs. It also has the ability to work on nearly any surface, including chair arms, jeans ...
Logitech Optical Mouse RX250
Advantages: good all round mouse
Disadvantages: none
days as it never sticks or looses track of where its meant to be like those old ball mouse's did. It has three buttons, the left the right and a tilted scroll wheel that can be pressed in. this is great and I never buy a mouse anymore if it doesn't have one of these, altogether it looks like a very neat modern mouse. Installation couldn't be easier, you literally take the mouse out of its box, plug the usb end into a usb port in your laptop, pc or mac and it will find and automatically install you mouse as a new drive within seconds and you'll be able to use your mouse from then on. ...
