HP OfficeJet 6000

I bought this printer for my office use few months back,and I have to say that it was a good decision to buy this printer.Under $150 it is one of the best printer in the market. About the design I would say that it looks great on my desk,and the grey-black finish gives this printer an awesome look.Also the unique tray sheet holder looks so beautiful,and it helps you to hold as much as 300 sheets at a time. I was lucky that I bought this online from Tesco Direct when they had an offer on & it didn't cost a lot. I bought it to replace my old HP Photosmart D7160 that had stopped working after years of good service. Sadly the OfficeJet 6000 isn't as good as the old D7160. Print quality is disappointing. Text can print poorly & uneven unless on the best setting and photos lack the vibrance of the older HP printer. It drinks ink. The HP ink cartridges are very expensive for this printer and don't last long at all. I bought this printer based on past experiences with HP printers but I feel let down by ... more
