The HP Officejet 6000 Printer is designed for micro/small business users wanting an energy-efficient, network-ready printer capable of delivering professional-quality color and... more...black-and-white at a low cost per page.
Advantages: easy to use and install, super fast prints, always clear print outs, long lasting cartridges Disadvantages: expensive outlay
When we were looking at a office printer price wasn?t a consideration and neither was performance so when the HPOfficeJet Pro K850 was recommended by a client I had no hesitation in paying £245 for a the mono version (i.e. the black and white model).
Size wise it wouldn?t take up too much room and easily fit into the slot left by our now defunct printer. The dimensions being:
Width: 61cm
Depth: 43.4cm
Height: 20.5cm
Weight: 12.3kg
Installing the printer was easy and once the driver software was installed onto our server each individual PC detected it immediately and was able to send print jobs to it without any real fuss or bother.
Built into the printer is a Motorola ColdFire 4e 256 MHz processor and it uses HP PhotoREt III image enhancing technology to ensure that all of the prints that come off are always ...
Advantages: not overly expensive to run Disadvantages: no flatbed scanning facility, slow inkjet printing
As a simple all-in-one printer, the HP Officejet 4315 basically does what is advertised. I've used this printer for over 6 months now and have yet to report a defect. I never previously owned a fax machine, and having this function on the printer has been fairly useful. The print quality is sufficient and you can pick up cartridges for as cheap as £10 for colour and £7 for black ink.
The all-in-one does have a few problems, however. If you require speedy print-outs I would recommend looking at a laser printer, as this inkjet can take its time. I have also had to revert to using my flatbed scanner, as this all-in-one only allows scanning of individual pages. The photocopy function on this machine can be quite slow, which further detracts from its appeal.
In terms of installing the printer I did not have any problems, and I have not ...
Advantages: Covers all of the printing needs for a small office Disadvantages: The print quality whilst very good is not as good as my dedicated laser printer!
When my existing fax machine needed refilling I discovered that it was cheaper to replace the machine than to get a new printer roll.
I chose the HP Officejet 4215 because it performs all of the tasks I need in a small accountancy office whilst not taking up a lot of space on my desk it is also easy to source consumables for it as both original and remanufactured items.
I especially liked that the copy and fax facilities are stand alone as i dont always have my computer online and some clients like to fax me in the late evening when i am not in the office to manually receive them to the pc.
I run my own accountancy business and for several years have been using a separate equipment for copying, faxing, scanning and printing because I have found that on the whole a dedicated machine gives better quality results even though ...
