I bought a H5400 duplex and within 2 weeks the print head started to malfunction and readable black copies could only be made in 'Photo' mode. I waited nearly 2 more weeks for a replacement print head and within 2 days this also malfunctioned. HP echanged the machine within 10 more days with a reconditioned unit. I complained I didnt buy a recon unit I wanted a new one because the recon unit didnt work from the get go. I wouldnt buy a new car with 20,000 miles on the clock would you. Also it will only print labels in best quality mode as it skids them through and miss aligns them in normal mode. It also will not print edge to edge envelopes. The closest it will print to the left edge is 1 inch I print my company logo in the top left corner. Not anymore. It can take up to 5 minutes to warm up in a morning churning and whiring away and sometimes it has a coffee break during the day while it cleans and aligns heads or whatever. If you have money to burn or you need a flat ledge to store paper on top of then buy this. If you need a printer buy a different brand completely as HP UK really dont give a ..
