Advantages: Ease of installation, reliability Disadvantages: Small software package for those who like freebies
First things first, this product does NOT include a DVD player. That doesn't bother me, but the whole world seems DVD crazy at the minute so I though that it should be mentioned. Arriving home with my new product I was up and running and surfing the internet within 30 minutes, installation was THAT easy. The 10.2GB hard drive is big enough for most home users, and the AMD K6 2/550 Mhz processor is more than adequate.
64 Mb SDRam may be starting ... ...enough. The CD rewriter has been a lot more useful than I thought it would be (who needs a zip drive when blank CD's are so cheap). Complete with a 56k modem, and six pre-installed ISP's you really can be surfing the 'net within minutes of first boot.The front loading USB Port and sockets are a touch of genius and sounds are truly remarkable with the A3d surround sound sytem with Polk Audio speakers.
