So basically from day one I have had my issues with it,
After two weeks of basic set-up ... ...turned it back on and it went to the "dos" screen before Windows came up. Of course i thought it was maybe because it had a virus on from when it had been in the shop. After spending all day on it I finally got it back on but had to reset it to the shop settings.
Two weeks worth of work were gone. not much, but when in collage, two weeks worth of course work.
everything sorted and I have problems since. more

It could be because it is a 64GB processor and I have only 32 bit Windows installed but non the less.
I can not say if it is the computer it self or the product I have installed on to it.
If you were to get this product, I would strongly recommend you install a 64bit GB system, and if you have the chance, try a Linux System( my humble opinion) .
The hard disk space is more than enough what you need if you were to buy this product for a regular use. Get the use out of it which you can. i use mine for creating art, gaming, music etc, etc as well as the standard , word documents.
Like I have mentioned, the only downfall to this Laptop though is if you do not use the right sized system, then you will have problems which will fade away in time because you will get used to htem but it wont get rid of the aggravation it will cause.

The worst laptop i have ever had the misfortune to own and use, has been messed up from day one! I have had to format it 4 times myself in 6 months, and seems to cut out randomly! HP service is poor, They have had 1 attempt at repairing the laptop and told me it was as good as new, but no, its going for a 2nd repair as it still doesnt work! 4 weeks and the repairs are still on going! Go buy anything but a HP, maybe its just a bad experience iv been put through, but its put me off them for life! Be warned, this laptop is just an accident waiting to happen! ...

I have had the laptop for 2 years. It's been used and daily basis and have never had any problems with it at all. All it needs is a routin service and a good antivirus like NOD32 (some may make them to work slower). I wouldn't recommand it for travellers as it's 17" widescreen.
