Advantages: Slick, lightweight design; good performance; built-in webcam; Disadvantages: Low battery life, glossy display can be reflective
thought 1280×800 was a good resolution to use for a 15.4â?³ screen. My only complaint with the screen is that the glare is really bad when trying to use the unit outside. It gets so bed you might as well look at a mirror with a dark background
This unit uses AMD rather than Intel meaning that it generates more heat. the performance of this notebook is quite good. It actually opens many apps much
faster than my desktop PC,
which is using an Intel Pentium dual core. So, there are no complaints about speed, but, it does generate a lot of heat heat.
The HPPavilion DV6 is a really nice, solid laptop and you really can?t go wrong with it. The price makes it very affordable.
The unit has a nice, sleek design and good all-around performance. It also offers a solid balance of features which really makes this laptop usable as
a desktop ...

Advantages: great entertainment laptop Disadvantages: portability
This laptop is the HPPavilion dv9820ea Entertainment. The HpPavilion models are made mainly for gaiming, watching movies on and various other entertainment needs whilst not compromising the ability to od serious work on these as well. One thing that is compromised though is the portability, entertainment laptops are made to keep at home and not really to carry about with you all the time, so whilst the specification may look good, don?t expect one of these to be very portable.
The Pavilion dv9820ea combines two colours, silver and black in order to make it look very up to date and futuristic even. It appears nice and rounded, and its shell makes the laptop feel very stable and robust.
The installed ram on this laptop is great, it has a massive 3gb which is the main reason this laptop runs so fast, also the AMD Turion 64 X2 mobile ...
Advantages: Good quality laptop, great appearance Disadvantages: Games are a no-no.
A well designed, high quality affordable laptop, the HPpavilion dv5 doesn't fail to please in looks, performance or price.
In terms of look and design, flashy is a good word for it. It has a glossy black case which shines in the light, then you open it. The keyboard-surround is split horizontally: the bottom half is very light silver with a white check pattern, and the upper half perforated silver plastic. Around the edge of the laptop, there is a chrome-effect strip which sparkles and shimmers. Even the mouse pad has a finish that is so reflective you can see your face in it. This is the 'bling-bling' of the laptop world. It also feels pretty solid, I don't think you would be able to break it easily and I have faith in it's durability and robustness. It is also quite light, weighing 2.65kg, not bad for a laptop it's size.
Ok ...
