Advantages Advantages Price, Battery, Design and Looks

Disadvantages Disadvantages Camera resolution and clarity, No Keypad light

There are only a few premium and fantastic multimedia books now a days and HP Pavillion DM4 is one of the most stylish amonst those. This model is a more better and portable alternative to DV6. I use this laptop in my office and managed and saved all my stuff and it did it. DESIGN & APPEARANCE Apart from elegant looks, this model doesn't lack in performance too. The hardware of this model is an updated one and so is the HP built in softwares. The external design is a blend of a high class plastic and metal, which lets a sophisticated feel. What i liked in the laptop most is the rich black ... more

Advantages Advantages Beautiful Looks, Aluminium Frame, Fast Processor, spaced keys

Disadvantages Disadvantages Fingerprint scanner not the best, lack of good graphics card

I purchased this laptop for £680, It was more than I budgeted for, and I do admit I probably purchased it because of its beautiful looks and aluminium frame rather than the bits inside, however, luckily for me, they were good too! It has an intel 5 processor and is noticabily quicker than any intel 2 or 3, its got decent memory and decent RAM, making the laptop very quick given its size and price, fast web pages, fast working. Its screen is also good quality for the price range, all movies and images are processed with very little buffering and shows up beautifully on the screen. If your ... more

Advantages Advantages light, fast hard disk, finger regognition for everything, fast processor, design

Disadvantages Disadvantages widescreen and sound quality

i bought this laptop about six months ago and the truth is that i use it daily because of the battery life which lasts for four to five hours. When i first looked at it i liked the bronze colour on the top of the laptop as well as the engravings which continue inside the laptop (just below the keyboard). is excellent for home use but not for games since the graphics card is not dedicated but an intel HD chip is on the motherboard to handle the graphics. The screen is widescren so even if it looks like an 11 inch laptop (because of the height of screen is really a 14 inch one). the hard drive ... more

Advantages Advantages Not too big, not too small Bright screen Quick running programs

Disadvantages Disadvantages Battery, Touch pad, Speakers

HP Pavilion dm4 I brought this because I thought it would be easy enough to both take on journeys with me plus work on at home. I have mixed feelings about this laptop. With a 14in screen and attractive, yet compact, chassis, it weighs 2kg. It might not be as light as an ultra-portable, but comes with other benefits such as an internal optical drive and more powerful internal components. I did want something with a DVD drive at the time of buying, however, after a year of having it I have realised that DVD and CDs seem old hat now and everything can be bought and downloaded online. The screen ... more
