i bought this laptop about six months ago and the truth is that i use it daily because of the battery life which lasts for four to five hours. When i first looked at it i liked the bronze colour on the top of the laptop as well as the engravings which continue inside the laptop (just below the keyboard).
is excellent for home use but not for games since the graphics card is not dedicated but an intel HD chip is on the motherboard to handle the graphics.

The screen is widescren so even if it looks like an 11 inch laptop (because of the height of screen is really a 14 inch one).
the hard drive is 500 GB 7200 RPM which is excellent for the price of the laptop. the most laptops on the market use a slow hard drive (and thus cheaper at 5400 RPM).
It also has 4GB DDR3 SDRAM installed which are more than enought to coop with windows 7 requirements. the RAM can be expanded to 8GB!!
The processor is an i5 (430M) 64 bit processor with speed of 2.26Ghz and the Intel Turbo boost which allow the processor to run at speeds of 2.53 GHz. It has L3 cache of 3MB which is more than satisfactory (the higher the more expensive it is and most systems carry 2-3 MB L3 Cache).
The 14 inch display has a maximum resolution of 1366x766 (WXGA) with brightview technology.
It also has a DVD writer with lightscribe technology so there is no need to write with a marker on the DVD!! Just select the design, flip the DVD on the lightscribe side and it will create the label that you selected in a matter of minutes.
The only dissadvantage on the laptop is the sound quality, because of its size no proper speakers are added, so you will need to have external ones to see a movie or just be very quiet. :)
the other components are:
5 in 1 card reader,
wireless (b/g/n) and blutooth technology
small camera on top of screen and microphone
Network LAN port
2 USB ports
e-sata port (i love this because it can also be used as usb port and with an esata cable you can connect it to an external hard drive and get amazingly fast speeds)
audio port (mic and speakers)
HDMI output
VGA output(the 15pin one)

Last but not least is the finger regognition which i found that works great and you can register up to 30 applications for startup (depending on the finger you scan and how many times you scan it -3 times maximum)

I bought this one from best buy for around 800 dollars but price can vary depending on seller. I found this on amazon.co.uk for 600 pounds and i believe it worths it.

This laptop is for everyday use and as mentioned above not a strong gaming laptop, that doe not mean you will not be able to play games but it means that after 15-20 minutes it becomes tiring.

I plugged it on a 45 inch tv using the hdmi output and the resolution is ok (4:3 ratio and is not taking up all the tv screen. this is due to the graphics card that it lacks.
