Advantages: Good solid home machine Disadvantages: Terrible trackpad
...I've now had this laptop since mid November 2007 and have found it a good powerful laptop for general home use.
This machine is aimed at home users and has a multimedia element and great - fingerprint attracting - design. I chose to go for a 14.1" laptop for its combination of low weight and good screen visibility. It is a lot lighter than my old 17" Packard Bell and even a previous 15.4" Vaio.
The battery power is satisfactory and runs for about 3.5 hours when watching movies and web browsing with wi-fi on. This goes up if you have the wi-fi switched off and are just using it for word processing.
