Impressed with this laptop.
Takes a while to get rid of all the freebie/trial software if you don't want it, and lacks the comfort of the restore discs, though there is the option to make your own, the restore function works off a partitioned drive, so get onto that backup job asap.

Wireless aerial is good, picks up signals as easily as the Belkin external aerial I tested out on it.
Not tried the LAN connection and there's always the good old 56k modem.
Card reader and firewire port are useful as are the little touches such as the wireless and mouse pad switches. Nice to see an entertainment device fitted with HDMI as well.
Could do with a few more USB ports, but a powerered USB ... more

Could do with a few more USB ports, but a powerered USB hub is probably needed if you want to run many more USB devices anyway. Internal Bluetooth and GSM mobile connection are the only other things I'd like to see, though USB devices are cheap enough even if they use up the slots.
Remote control is useful for the couch potatoes amongst us as well as nice to use if you're using it as a presentation machine as well. Fits so nicely into it's storage slot, I forgot it was there.
Overall decent machine for the price. Good build quality, looks nice (if it's important) and some nice features.
