Manufacturer's product description
HP Pavilion t3000 Series is an ultra-stylish PC that combines impressive computing power with extensive digital photography, video and audio capabilities for an outstanding multimedia experience.
Advantages: Good keyboard, nice screen, memory, hard drives and graphics for money Disadvantages: Unfortunately this model doesnt have the HDMI which newer ones do.
...A value for money laptop. Good 17" widescreen, loads of memory 2GB, Good hard drive size and I have the AMD 64AthlonX2 processor. All this combined gives reasonable speed for the cash paid. I use mainly for home use ie internet, word documents etc and it copes easily. The speakers are a little weak but this is to be expected. The laptop is also quite light and therefore confortable while sitting on your knees. As a previously mentioned the camera can be dodgy at times but if you dont use this facility like me its not of great concern. Its also good to keep the system updated with the with the HP updates and the Microsoft Vista updates. This will ensure stability and the most up to date security and drivers....

Advantages: Slim and stylish Disadvantages: Lacks some features of larger desktops due to lack of space
...Had this pc for a few months now and I must say it has been great. It is small and stylish and you could quite easily have it in your sitting room and think "that looks great" every time you pass it.
It is powerful enough to handle most normal use eg. itunes, photoshop, broadband web-browsing etc although I don't think it would be the best for game play.
If you get it from one of the bigger stores (Igot mine from Cruuys) it comes with a cracking 19 inch wide screen monitor which is really clear, a set of small speakers, mouse and keyboard for under £500.
All in all it does everything I need and has been a pleasure to use....

Advantages: Fast, Fast, FAST!!! (Oh yeah... and easy to set up and use, too.) Disadvantages: Huh?!!? No stereo speakers?!?!
...)
Software:
* Microsoft Windows Millennium Edition (ME)
* Microsoft Works 2000
* An assortment of Windows games
* About a bazillion offers for every imaginable online service available.
(NOTE: I didn't buy a monitor at the same time as my computer; I had previously bought a Compaq CV935 19-inch color monitor via mail order.)
HERE’S THE REALLY GOOD STUFF ABOUT THE COMPAQ PRESARIO 5004US (SOME ADMITTEDLY PRELIMINARY OBSERVATIONS)...
Lightning Fast!! Make no mistake about it: this is one... fast... computer!! I’ve long had major doubts about those claims of AMD’s Athlon(TM) processor being the fastest thing going, but seeing is definitely believing! Everything moves F-A-S-T on my Presario 5004US! Boot-up time is around 20 seconds... that's 20 seconds shorter than my HPPavilion, with its 466MHz Celeron and 64 MB of RAM...

This is an unbelievably fast and very good looking laptop. The finish on it is very nice and the shape of it looks good from any angle. Another great thing about this is the 320GB hard drive because you can store so much on there wothout having to worry... more
