Well I'm sitting here writing this review on my new hp Compaq nx9005 laptop which I'm well pleased with. I settled on this laptop after a fair bit of research into laptops at around the £800 mark. I was very impressed with this machine's specs and also the excellent reviews I'd read of it. I picked it up on the brilliant ebuyer.com for the bargain price of around £810.
SPECIFICATIONS
Processor: AMD AthlonXP-Mobile 2400+, a great processor which has the distinct advantage of being designed for laptops. Thus it is cooler and less power-hungry than its desktop counterparts. This helps the laptop reach an excellent running time on battery of around 4hrs with light use.

It's must be obvious now I am an computer fan so another Ciao review now! I am sure you have noticed that computing is on the way up due to the ever forward march of technology!? Living in flat with a land line means that I could get BT Broadband connected there are plenty of reasons to go broadband you get around faster and easier and cheaper than even the basic system where you pay for usage as I was always turning on during the day and getting stung. For the standard £25.99 also use is free at any time as well. A better way to surf the web the best around nothing better is possible. This year I was lucky to have a hppavilionze4355ea given to me I have been using it for to use for three months. I know you must be wondering why that and not another well thats due to the my brother getting a special offer...

I Ordered the laptop on a Saturday and it had been delivered to me by the Thursday, and that including returning signed documents. I can highly recommened dabs.com online finance facility for its ease of use when purchasing something just a bit more expensive.
The laptop has a 15inch TFT screen, a nice soft keypad, touchpad, blue lighting on the keys, a CD-RW / DVD drive, firewire port, built in stereo speakers, USB ports, battery pack and charger. The screen is clear and crisp, DVD's look good when being played backm abd the speakers provide a good sound quality as well. I bought mine on ebay for £360, I needed it for university study and it's working really well for small documents like word and excel and it will also play some games well, mainly Unreal Tournament online :-)
