...The hp dc7800 is a brilliant consumer product, i currently work for a computer firm and we have had quite a few HP deskyop PCs brought in and installed for our clients. The Hp desktops are very reliable and speedy machines, they tend to come complete with manufacturer software such as:- - Roxio CD/DVD creator - HP system software manager - HP protest tools security software The hp software is not really needed but the roxio cd/dvd creatpr is very useful. This PC will be perfect for business use, and possibly a decent gaming machine. Samll review on the installed hardware PROCESSOR - Core 2 Quad Q6600 / 2.4 GHz very speedy processor, reliable and fast, perfect for multifunction tasks. Advantages: The managability of Proliants is second to none
Disadvantages: Accountants will try to make you buy cheaper

...I have worked with servers for 6 years now and have never found any manufacturer of servers the comes close to the HP/Compaq Proliant range. What sets Proliants apart from the rest of the field is the managability tools that HP provide. The DL740 comes from the density optimized line, this means that there are some sacrafices that are made to package the server smaller. This is a server we use and is dedicated to working as a worldwide gateway to the corporate network and allows seamless transactions to take place. HP is a name that people can trust and this server will not disappoint the consumer. You get a lot of value for your money and you in turn get a very well made piece of kit that will serve you for many years. Whatever configuration you choose, you will be adding a solid member to your network.
