I find that this photo studio is very easy to use especially for the likes of you who are not technically minded. It has various editing functions including red-eye remover and a computer package ... ...computer before printing. You can even transfer your pics into other Photoshop programs and print through your inkjet/laserjet printers. Its amazing the things that you can achieve. It even has a function that allows you to video record up to 15 mins of footage and set up slide shows that can be played back through your TV or PC. I have not used this function so cannot comment about its worthiness.

As an artist I find this photo studio to be a very useful tool because I can capture images of things I need for my artistic research and print it when I get home without any hassle. This photo studio saves the grief of going to a shop to have your pictures developed for expensive prices!!! The finished printed pictures are of very good quality, from its adjoining little printer, although it does eat a lot of ink, which is the only downfall that I have with it. If you transfer your images to your PC to print on a larger scale the image quality does not alter either. I have printed pictures to A3 size for posters and have not complained.
I paid £180 for mine but I know that the price range varies from between £120 - £279 I don't think its worth paying more than £190 as newer and improved models are now available which are obviously better. However, I recommend this for those of you who would like a easy to use photo studio that produces decent pictures. I do recommend that you also purchase a memory card to go in the camera as without one it only stores about 4-8 images. If you are a keen photographer you will need a card.
When you have used it to take a few snaps remember to switch it off to save the battery life as it runs down quickly. It's not good when you go to take a picture and the camera switches off mid click-flash. Obviously! it re-charges when it is plugged into the printer / docking station.
I have not had any problems finding supplies ie: ink, paper or memory cards. There are many retailers that sell the replacement cartridges and paper. I would shop around to find the best deals as they change frequently from place to place.
Advantages: ease of use Disadvantages: have not discoverd one yet
Although I am no technical boffin I found it easy to use, the camera was easy to use and easy to show somebody else how to use it. It would be avery good first time camera package as far as I can tell so far and I would have no problems recomending it as far as i have used and seen it used. the camera mode and playback mode are easily activated from two buttons on the camera above the viewing screen although it does appear to have a battery saving ... ...off quite quickly. I although have not as yet seen any pictures from the printer so I cannot coment on the quality of the printer. The only down side is the camera is slightly larger than some others I have seen although not much larger. some camera stats
